Adam King’s passions are sneakers and impacting the AAPI community. He is the co-founder and CEO of 1587 Sneakers and has previously worked for Reebok, adidas, and KOIO. Throughout his sneaker journey, he has held roles in product marketing and development, sales, logistics, social marketing, and production. He has been featured on MSNBC (Katie Phang Show), the cover of the Boston Globe, and various other outlets. His best friend is Obi, his cat.
Sam Hyun is one of the Co-Founders of 1587 Sneakers. He also serves as the Director of Government Relations for The Asian American Foundation. In 2021, Sam was named one of the Boston Globe’s Bostonians of the Year and has been featured in numerous publications. In addition to his work in government relations, Sam is passionate about advocating for the AAPI community and creating opportunities for underrepresented groups. He enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with his family.
