Dale Ting is a lifestyle entrepreneur who has achieved flexibility of time and location to create financial freedom. With this control over his day, he is able to work from the beach or while traveling. He has been to 45 states (only New Mexico, Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, and West Virginia are left) and he is setting his sights on international destinations next. His ‘basecamp’ is in Newport Beach, CA where he enjoys playing softball and the violin (not simultaneously) and considers himself an expert of all things ‘boba’. After 10 years with the Procter and Gamble Company, Dale graduated from corporate life in 2011. He has a chemical engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Xavier University.
Dale’s primary business is an e-commerce brand, The Bucko (thebucko.com) household-care products, with its signature product ‘The Bucko Soap Scum & Grime Cleaner’. His other ventures include EntreAsians (entreasians.com), a resource to help Asian Americans find fulfillment through entrepreneurship, and Confidence Pool Picks (confidencepoolpicks.com), a resource that helps people with the NFL confidence pool games. He is on track to be a $1 million business by 2020.
At the ACEL 2019 Dynamics of Leadership Conference, he will be presenting on “How to Start a Business with No Time, No Money, and No Ideas”. When people think of entrepreneurship they think of long hours, quitting their steady, high paying jobs, and neglecting their friends and family – It doesn’t have to be that way. With a different mindset and the internet, Dale will show how you can create a business that fits your lifestyle; not change your lifestyle to fit your business.
