Thiru Thangarathinam is the founder and CEO of MST Solutions, a technology and services firm that specializes in transforming customer experiences in a digitally connected world.  Thiru left the corporate world and started his own business out of his home office, without any experience as an entrepreneur.  Thiru was determined to chart his own destiny and today MST Soltutions employees nearly 300 people and continues to expand.  Thiru encourages work-life blanace and creates a workplace culture everyone can enjoy.  Under his leadership, MST Solutions was awarded as one of the best places to work in the Phoenix area.

Jan Wichayanuparp is the Co-founder and Chief Ice Cream Hustler for Sweet Republic, an award-winning artisan ice cream company that has been features on the Food Network and the Cooking Channel.  It has also been named among the top ice cream shops in the U.S. by Bon Appetit, USA Today and Time Magazine.  Since the conceptualization and launch of their first scoop shop in Scottsdale in 2008, Jan and her business partner, Helen Yung, have grown the company to 3 retail locations in the Greater Phoenix area.  Sweet Republic wholesales to the Valley’s premier hotels and restaurants, as well as to the Arizona Whole Foods Markets.

Sherry Scott is the Owner and Managing Partner of Cute Smiles 4 Kids & Orthodontics with offices in Phoenix, AZ and San Antonio, TX.  Cute Smiles 4 Kids serves underprivileged children with top-notch dental care in a state-of-the-art office.  Sherry has been an entrepreneur for over 10 years, and prior to that, she worked in corporate American at GlaxoSmithKline and Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management division.  Sherry is also a founding board member of Bloom Development, a nonprofit organization geared towards developing women future leaders.  Sherry enjoys giving back to the community and also volunteers with Hope Kids.

Adelaida Severson, Ph.D., is President and CEO of Bushtex, Inc.  She co-founded Bushtex, a satellite communications firm specializing in remote broadcast transmissions worldwide, with her husband in 1994.  She helped to increase sales and visibility after becoming more involved with the marketing and operations of the company.  Bushtex’s customers range from television networks that broadcast sporting and news events from around the world, to corporations that set up teleconferences, to government agencies that communicate via satellite.

Dale Ting, the panel moderator, is a lifestyle entrepreneur whose mission is to help people find fulfillment through entrepreneurship.  He currently manages 3 businesses: The Bucko, an e-commerce brand of cleaning products; ConfidencePoolPicks, a football picks site for office pools; and EntreAsians, a resource for Asian Americans who want to be entrepreneurs, which includes a podcast to inspire people to start a business.  Dale lives on the beach in Redondo Beach, CA and is the founding president of the ACEL chapter in Southern California.
