In this session, learn how to embody these characteristics to bring out the best in your employees and to utilize their strengths. This panel is perfect for those just starting their managerial career paths, the seasoned corporate manager, or the budding entrepreneur.

Dr. Stephanie Fujii is the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Scottsdale Community College. She has spent nearly 30 years in higher education. Her experience encompasses academic and student affairs having served as a teacher, counselor, and an administrator. Stephanie has a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from Arizona State University, a Master of Arts in Counseling & Educational Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from the University of Nevada.

Mark Chiang is a Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing at Medtronic. He is an Operations Executive with two decades of global business experience having lead global teams to developing and executing strategies in highly regulated environments. Mark is well poised to discuss how leaders bring out the best in their employees through empowerment and influence, while achieving their own professional success. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Psychology, a Masters of Science in Operations Management, and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Sophie Williams is President & Founder of World Image Consulting. She has dedicated more than 10 years working for several Fortune 500 multinational companies, leading global teams in Public Relations & Communications. She has provided oversight for projects for American Airlines, Olay, Prudential, Akzo Nobel, Coca-Cola, Shiseido and Hilton Worldwide. Sophie helps clients in cultivating their ‘best selves’ to establish a solid and impressive executive or social presence.

Lisa Wong is a Legal Entity Risk Officer at the Bank of Montreal. She sets and delivers strategic risk management vision to the company. She is the National Chair of BMO Alliance for Women at BMO Financial Group and President/co-founder of the Chicago Financial Women Alliance.  She is a participant of National AAPI Leadership Summit for the White House Initiative on Asian American and Pacific Islanders. Lisa has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from George Washington University and an MBA in Finance from American University.

Jessica Hamel, the panel moderator, is a Vice President and Commercial Associate for Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She is responsible for sales performance management, market analysis, and industry specialization support. She has wide-ranging experience with sales team management, onboarding and training. Jessica volunteers with ACEL, St. Mary’s Food Bank, and Goodwill of Arizona, where she helps teens and adults expand their financial knowledge.
