(PHOENIX, AZ) — The Asian Corporate & Entrepreneur Leaders (ACEL) is proud to announce that Board Director Hannellie Mendoza was selected for the Scottsdale Leadership Core Program Class 30.
Hannellie was chosen after a competitive application process for the nine month leadership program, selected with 40 other participants that represent a varied cross-section of the community in terms of professional and cultural backgrounds. Scottsdale Leadership is highly acclaimed at both the local and national levels. The National Community Leadership Association recognized Scottsdale Leadership as one of the top five leadership programs in the country.
Hannellie came to Arizona in 2007 and found ACEL while searching for a way to connect with Asian Americans in the Valley and get involved in community programs. During her three and a half years with ACEL, Hannellie developed the Toastmasters Committee as its Chair in 2013, revitalized operations and community service as Vice President for Event Operations in 2014 and currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors with a focus on driving professional development and leadership growth across the organization.
Hannellie’s professional expertise stems from over 25 years of experience working for organizations both large and small in the technology industry. She has served in various sales, marketing, research and management roles, gaining a deep and comprehensive understanding of business and management. She is currently a Profitability Manager with Tempe-based Insight Enterprises, Inc., a Fortune 500 company that empowers clients with intelligent technology solutions. Hannellie has a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
