“You have to get over your fear of failure,” said the serial entrepreneur.   A concept which may be very difficult for most Asian-Americans to accept.  In the past year, Dale created a community of entrepreneurial Asians, EntreAsians, as a safe place for Asian-American entrepreneurs to brainstorm, motivate, and inspire one another– a place to learn from others who may not be part of the “Asian holy trinity of doctor, lawyer, or engineer,” (www.EntreAsians.org), but want to establish success by channeling their entrepreneurial dreams.

Dale is passionate about mentoring other budding entrepreneurs and leaders, working closely with the Asian Corporate (ACEL) as former President, and Board Member, for the Cincinnati, OH chapter.  He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000 with a Chemical Engineering degree, then enjoyed a 10 year career in product development and R&D for Procter and Gamble.  While he found his work challenging, he found the corporate path stifled his creativity and in 2011, he was ready to take the leap of faith as an entrepreneur.  He developed Wild Ting Enterprises in 2011 (www.wildting.com), naming his venture after a moniker given to him by a high school teachers. One of the company’s ventures, The Bucko, is a brand of household care products (www.thebucko.com) affectionately named after Bucky the Badger, the University of Wisconsin’s resident mascot.

Join us at our 2nd Annual Leadership Conference, where Dale will speak on various ways to start a business “with no time, no money, and no ideas,” dispel common myths about entrepreneurship, and how to cultivate the right mindset to start your own business.
