Asian Corporate & Entrepreneur Leaders is proud to present the 2021 Entrepreneurial Leader of the Year award to Cindy Louie for her contributions to changing the cultural food landscape in Phoenix. Her accomplishments in launching several successful food businesses will be celebrated at the organization’s Leadership Awards Gala on January 29, 2022.

Cindy Louie is a community leader, entrepreneur, festival producer and multi-disciplinary designer. Born and raised on traditional Cantonese Cuisine, Cindy is obsessed with pairing great food with great design. She has founded several companies including, Go Studio Go (interior design firm for the hospitality industry), Hawker Street Market (a community-based, multi-cultural food festival), and PHX Night Market (Arizona’s first large-scale night market).

Utilizing her degrees in Interior Design and Architecture, Cindy’s approach to design is holistic and engages all five senses, sound, sight, touch, smell, and taste. Cindy has worked with award-winning design firms growing hospitality brands across the nation. She also worked as an in-house designer for James Beard recipient and acclaimed restaurateur Sam Fox, developing new concepts to expand their brands. In addition to being a serial entrepreneur, she has led several fundraising initiatives for the local community and helped launch many small food businesses.
