The Asian Corporate & Entrepreneur Leaders (ACEL) is honored to announce Ms. Kristin Samson as the co-emcee for the 2016 ACELebration of Leadership Gala on Saturday, January 16th at the DoubleTree Paradise Valley Resort.
Kristin’s father was born in Seoul, Korea and moved to the United States where he enlisted in the Air Force. He was soon after stationed to a base in Clovis, New Mexico where he met Kristin’s mother. Kristin was born in Oregon, but as a military kid, she spent some time in the Philippines and in Utah before her dad was stationed here at Luke Air Force Base.
Kristin received her double major in business and communication from Arizona State University, Go Devils!! Kristin has a successful career in the packaging industry for past eight years and is an account manager for Victory Packaging. In addition to Kristin’s work with local businesses and manufactures she is as passionately involved with the community. Kristin joined ACEL through the mentorship program in 2013 and has been an active member ever since. She is also part of the leadership team for Suns Charities 88, a member of the Young Professional Council for UMOM, serves on the board for Saving Amy, and is a current class member of Valley Leadership (Class 37 – Best Class Ever).
Her faith and her family are foundational to who she is and she loves all things holiday. In her spare time Kristin is an advocate of delicious local food and beer. She travels frequently and enjoyed spending time places such as Cuba, South Africa, and 22 of our country’s 59 national parks. A lover of the outdoors she stays active through hiking and marathons and is excited for her first Ironman in November 2016.
This is her second time co-emcing a major event and has no doubt this experience will be even better than the last. She is thankful to be a part of this year’s ACELebration of Leadership Gala and looks forward to enjoying the evening with lots of new friends.
