Marty Lorenzo is a business leader, an attorney, a Marine, an Adjunct Professor, and a community servant. He is the Vice President Legal Affairs at Petco where he collaborates with other senior executives and heads of business units to develop and execute innovative, efficient and cost-effective strategies. He also sits on Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards for emerging growth companies. He is a mission-oriented leader who leverages the skills and experience he has amassed from 30+ years in the United States Marine Corps and 20+ years in the legal profession to lead teams and accomplish their strategic vision.
Marty is a founding officer and member of the Executive Committee of the National Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (ACE). He also serves as Secretary and Personnel Committee Chair of the Asian Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund, he is a former Officer and an active member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) and he is a Past President of the Filipino American Lawyers of San Diego.
Marty is a firm believer in work-life integration, he enjoys surfing and holding “board meetings” with other local business leaders, rock climbing while advising entrepreneurs how to reach new heights, and hiking while enjoying life’s journey with his family.
