Starting a business entails understanding and dealing with many issues – legal, financing, sales and marketing, intellectual property protection, liability protection, human resources, and more. Additionally, when you realize the current products or services are not meeting the needs of the market, you may need to change the direction of a business in order to survive. Gain insights on how to start and maintain a small business, especially during economic crises from experienced entrepreneur, Asad Khan. He will share his tips and tricks during his sessions, “The Essentials of Starting and Growing a Successful Small Business” and “When and How to Pivot your Business Model” during ACEL’s Dynamics of Leadership Conference from October 22-23, 2021. Register today to learn more!
Asad Khan came to the United States in 1993 to study finance and entrepreneurship at the University of Arizona. At age 18, he started his first business in Karachi, Pakistan. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Khan worked globally for companies including IBM, SAIC, Leidos and Tetra Tech. He is a serial entrepreneur and has built 16 self-financed small businesses, ranging from nightclubs, restaurants, wholesale, retail, import/export, real estate and financial consulting. Khan takes pride in having a very little social media footprint and continues to believe that investing small is the best way to achieve success.
