ACEL Leadership Conference is honored to welcome Mr. Steve Yamamori as a presenter at the upcoming Leadership Conference on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Scottsdale Hilton Resort & Villas (, he will focus on the topic of Getting The Visibility and Recognition You Deserve At Work

Steve Yamamori was the Special Projects Program Manager for APS in the Community Affairs Department. Steve providedstrategy; business planning and execution of some of the organizations largest programs including Military & Veterans, APS Retiree and the APS Community Partner Academy. Steve was also the manager of Business & Community Relations and managed a team that communicates with large-scale customers, non-profits, community and business leaders, to ensure the delivery of safe, reliable and affordable energy as well as opportunities to partner with charitable giving, events and sponsorships. Prior to APS, Steve was the CEO of Fighter Country Partnership, an advocacy and support organization for Luke Air Force Base.

Steve began his professional career in advertising at Riester where he worked in account management for the Arizona Department of Health Services’ Tobacco Education Prevention Program.

During an award-winning stint at R&R Partners advertising agency, Steve worked as lead copywriter for major Valley companies and is passionate about volunteering in his community, in particular the West Valley, his current home that he shares with his wife Aimee and their 7-year old daughter Lilly.
