The power to effect change starts with one person.
It starts with action.
And sometimes, that action requires a bit of inspiration, a roadmap, a know-how.
The 2018 Dynamics of Leadership Conference provides a slew of opportunities to get jumpstarted — whether the change is personal or institutional. Whether it’s starting from anew or moving progress forward.
ACEL is proud to present a wide range of leaders — entrepreneurs, executives, managers and innovators — who will share their stories and counsel to raise our individual and collective game.
The goal is simple: Elevate what we do in business, in education, in government and in community.
The two-day conference features leaders the likes of Daehee Park, a first-generation Korean American and co-founder of Tuft & Needle, a direct-to-consumer mattress company that has disrupted a $16 billion traditional industry.
And Nobu Hara, who as a senior vice president of Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona for more than a decade oversaw the fastest growing Goodwill organization in the country by helping to transform its strategies and focus.
And Christine Chen, who founded and serves as executive director for APIAVote, which conducts research and polling of APIA voters along with training to strengthen local grassroots programs that reach and mobilize voters of Asian descent.
The conference offers two dozen breakout sessions that give insight on what leadership looks and feels like, what it can do, and how individuals can make a difference in their own business or the organization or cause to which they belong.
Whether it is managing a diverse workforce, or inspiring Millennials in our ranks, or breaking out of cultural barriers, or simply gaining skills to better engage with our community, the conference promises to raise our game.
We look to see you there.
