Director – Stephen Y. Wu

Stephen Wu has over two-decades of professional and leadership experience in the financial industry, presently serving as Vice President, Business Process Consultant at Wells Fargo Bank.  In his current role, he supports operations, technology and lines of business by providing strategic business improvement and transformation advice.  Prior to joining Wells Fargo, his career included various management and senior professional positions in Signet Bank, First USA Bank, Destiny Web Solutions, Inc., and Wachovia Bank.

Stephen became a Wells Fargo corporate liaison with ACEL in early 2013 and helped Wells Fargo initiate and expand its corporate sponsorship over the past three years.  He also participated in the mentorship program as a mentor in 2013 and 2014.  As a new board member, he hopes to leverage his corporate experience and strategic leadership skills to help ACEL expand its corporate relationship and partnership with other communities in the region, and helps its leadership to continue to strengthen and execute its vision to become a premier leadership platform in the region.

Stephen is an active leader in Diversity and Inclusion.  He is currently Regional President of Asian Connection Team Member Network at Wells Fargo, as well as serving as a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Council in Technology and Operations Group.

Stephen received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, a M.S. in Systems Engineering and received his MBA from University of Virginia.  He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University.

Born in Shanghai, China, Stephen currently resides in Chandler, Arizona.
